Mail Expiration Warning Optout

Currently every email addressed to username@aramis, username@remus, username@cereal, username@paul or username@research gets an automatic reply that says:

    Beep! Beep!

    Dear user@research.rutgers.edu,

    The message, Subject "Your research paper", was sent to you
    by your correspondent , at a soon 
    to be invalid email address:

      user@research.rutgers.edu

    In the near future, email addressed to the above host will no
    longer be delivered.  Before that happens (as soon as possible), you
    should notify your correspondent of your new email address.


    Thank you.

Some users have expressed concerns about this warning message (aka the "Beep! Beep! message) and would like to have an option to disable this warning.

To opt-out, go to Opt-Out site. Enter your dragon username and password to opt-out. This opt-out will take effect immediately. Note: You must have an account on dragon to do this.

Before opting out, please note that there is NO opt-in feature. If you change your mind at a later time, you will have to use a RULE in your dragon account. An example of such rule would be:


    IF Header Field  in  X-Real-To: *username@research*,X-Real-To: *username@paul*
    THEN
    Reply with
        Dear ^F!
        I got your message ^S on ^T. I am changing my email address. 
        to: username@cs.rutgers.edu. Please make a note of it.

        Thank you.
